• They are generally humanoid, skeletally thin, fur-covered, membrane-winged nocturnal predators with a reputation for arrogance.
• First contact occurred millennia ago.

There is limited activity within the system.

• Commercial traffic is relatively infrequent: ships only occasionally visit.
• Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in local Afreet languages.
• The system does not have any commercial navigation beacons.
• Vessels are unlikely be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Youdu has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
