• As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by indigenous Sophonts located in the Zhadl Vizh Subsector of Chiep Zhez Sector.

• It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
• The mainworld and its gas giant primary world orbit the secondary star.
• 100% of the population consists of Kohudo.
• This world is controlled from Laeil.

Mainworld Data

Yaheye is a satellite of a gas giant.

• The mainworld and its gas giant primary world orbit the system's orange secondary star.
• EM noise originating from both the primary star and the gas giant can disrupt sensor and commo operations.

The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the secondary star's Habitable Zone.

• They lie within the zone's prime H region.
• They receive moderate levels of stellar energy.
• The gas giant is "puffy", warm and swollen due to the energy it receives from the star.

Mainworld Size (S)

Yaheye is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Yaheye has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. While a Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

• It experiences moderate temperatures.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Yaheye has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)

Yaheye is a backwater that rarely sees visitors. Many of the planets and moons within the system have never been visited by an intelligent being.

• Information about the system is limited.
• The resources of the system are being exploited.

Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date: previously undocumented groups may now inhabit the system and maintain their own culture, forms of government, and systems of law.

Both the system's huge primary star and the gas giant that the mainworld orbits causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.

World Starport (St)

Yaheye has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World Population (P)

Yaheye has a population of 700,000 sophonts (hundreds of thousands).

• This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
• The population almost entirely consists of Kohudo.
• A few Xubux may occasionally be encountered.

Yaheye possesses a Technology Level of TL–7.

Yaheye has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
