Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard Shipyard v1.13 written by Andrea Vallance. |
The Viking class Fighter is a combatant smallcraft.
- It is a military ship and a Fighter.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Designed and built for the PSN of the Protectorate Space Navy, this fighter is capable of 6 G's acceleration, and 5 agility. This is a result of the massive fusion power plant for a boat of its size. It is armed with a pair of plasma guns each firing as a separate battery. It is equipped with a model 2 computer with a bridge. They are undefended and must rely on their agility and small size to escape destruction. They are streamlined flattened spheres and fitted with fuel scoops. Four squadrons of eleven of these fighters are carried aboard the Nova Class Escort Carriers.
