The Un Vaeg class Troop Transport is an TL–12 planetary siege Troop Transport.

Description (Specifications)

Built for the First Fleet of Dzo these TL–12 ships carry Jump-3 drives. It has 5 Gs acceleration and 5-Agility. The hull is the size of a streamlined light cruiser with a needle/wedge structure. The ship is capable of ocean refueling, and is fitted with scoops and fuel purification. They carry 7,200.0 tons of fuel, which is enough for one Jump-3. It is equipped with a pair of Model/6 fib ship computers and has a crew of 1,525.

They carry 200 triple turrets for defense. One hundred are triple missile turrets, grouped into ten batteries. Fifty are triple beam laser turrets, grouped into five batteries and the final fifty are triple sand caster turrets, which fire as five batteries as well.

Ship's vehicles include: (x10) 70 ton shuttles, (x20) 4 ton Air/Rafts, (x10) 10 ton AFVs, and two squadrons of 20 ton fighters. They are optimized to carry as many Vargr corsair raiders as possible, in this case a small regiment. A commando platoon of 62 marines is equipped with drop capsules for orbital assaults.

It has a crew of 1,525. 174 weeks to build, 140 weeks in quantity.

They were designed and are built at Lefaen ( Meshan 2604 A8C9127-C) and the 1st and 2nd AssaultRons of the The First Fleet of Dzo Navy, each have four of this class assigned.
