Tou'iraro has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

• It experiences low temperatures.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Tou'iraro has 35-45% of its surface covered by liquid water. There will be a number of small seas or one larger body of water. Wilderness refueling is possible.

• Much of the surface is covered in glaciers, ice, frost, and snow.

Satellites

Tou'iraro retains two small vacuum moons.

• They orbit once every few days.

Tou'iraro is a declining world with a stagnant economy and falling standards of living. Life on the world is hard, cold, and miserable. Everything is in short supply.

• The world has been heavily settled by Ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
• The resources of the mainworld are being exploited.

Many businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.

• Commercial traffic is frequent: ships regularly arrive and depart.
• Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
• A number of commercial navigation beacons will be active.
• A vessel or two may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Aslan settlement began during the 1060s.

• It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal.
• The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.
• Prior to settlement, Tou'iraro was a barren world.
• Construction is ongoing in some areas.

The human population of the world arrived with the Aslan.

• Most are integrated members of society.
• Many are not there by choice.

Tou'iraro has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Tou'iraro has a population of 3,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).

• High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
• Around 70 percent of the population (roughly 2.1 billion) consists of Aslan.
• Around 30 percent of the population (approximately 900 million) is made up of humans.

Urbanization

Multiple large cities, each surrounded by smaller satellite communities.

• Cities are located around the twilight zone.
• Regional centers have their own starports.
• Some regions of the surface of the world remain as wilderness.

All buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.
