Sokr Jakkia is a nonindustrial world, that requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- In a technological universe, societies without industrial capability generally suffer as nearly all manufactured and high tech goods must be brought in at significant cost.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Dlarashtsalash Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.
- This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
- This world is administered from Jonjivr.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been partially surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- An unknown number of secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x4 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones prime H region.
- It receives moderate levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences moderate temperatures.
- Most of the atmospheric oxygen is believed to have been bound into the oceans long ago, through a process not yet understood.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites[edit]
Sokr Jakkia retains three small vacuum moons.
- They orbit once every few weeks.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia was settled during the -2300s and was one of the more populous worlds of the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity. When the Unity contracted in the 900s, Sokr Jakkia was mostly abandoned due to the need for constant maintenance caused by the oxidising waters. The remaining population are those who refused to abandon their home, all of whom live in a single settlement called Ekr Jakkia. Jonjivr still maintains control of the world, but this really only applies to the (absolutely minimal) starport area.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has a population of 60,000 sophonts (tens of thousands).
- This is a Nonindustrial World, too small to support the complete chain of production of most goods from start to finish.
- The population almost entirely consists of Vlazhdumecta humans.
World Languages[edit]
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia possesses a Technology Level of TL–6.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Telephone, radio, and television.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fission power generation, advanced water and wind generation of electricity.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Improved automobiles, early ATV's, and dedicated AFV's.
- Water: Amphibious vehicles, improved submersibles, and early SCUBA gear.
- Air: Early jet aircraft and rotorcraft VTOL's.
- Space: Early unmanned rocket delivery systems and early manned orbital rockets.
World Government (G)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. A colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
World Law (L)[edit]
Sokr Jakkia has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors).
World Culture[edit]
Even more than Vlazhdumecta generally, the locals hold invention, creativity, and artistry in special regard. Historically, the Zhodani were also held in high regard and would always receive special privileges when visiting. In fact, the people often preferred to think of themselves as Zhodani, rather than Vlazhdumecta.
