Siridor is a high-population, non-agricultural, industrial and icy world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- The surface of this world is ice-capped with nearly all of its water frozen.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It is a subject world of the Korsumug Empire located in the Siridor Subsector of Mavuzog Sector.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- This is a frozen world, with a climate of extremely low temperatures.
- It is a part of the Siridor Trace.
- About 90% of the population is composed of baseline humans.
- About 10% of the population is composed of Jaibok.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Siridor has a solitary primary star.
- It is a red main sequence named Dulcid.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld. It is a large moon of the gas giant Prospo.
- x2 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x3 gas giants. The largest and innermost is named Prospo.
A diagram indicating the positions of all of the major worlds and satellites in the system. Distances are noted in AU.
Extended system data is available.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Siridor is a major moon of a large gas giant named Prospo.
- They are far from the effects of stellar flare activity.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary world orbit within the outer system.
- They receive very low levels of stellar energy.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Siridor is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
- Tidal stresses generated by the gas giant primary world cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Siridor has a pressure of less than 0.1 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
- It experiences very low temperatures.
Although it is merely a trace, the atmosphere is able to erode and degrade surface features such as craters.
- The atmosphere may pool within deep craters and canyons, locally reaching a pressure equivalent to a very thin atmosphere.
- The atmosphere does not contain oxygen.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Siridor has 05-15% of its surface covered by ice, either in vast sheets or contained deep within craters or fractures on the surface. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants can be got by mining and melting ice.
- The surface of the world is composed of a crust of ice many kilometers thick.
- Much of the surface is cratered and covered in thick layers of regolith and dust of meteoric origin, leaving only a small amount of the icy outer shell exposed.
- Below the outer icy shell there may be a world-ocean of liquid water.
Mainworld Geography & Topography[edit]
A simple map of Siridor showing the darker basalt flats, the regolith plains, rugged highland regions, the major craters, and the polar frost fields.
Native Lifeforms[edit]
There may be strange sub-ice native lifeforms, but this has never been proven.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The system's star experiences periodic bouts of flare activity, which causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
- During major outbursts of flare activity radiation levels within the system are dangerously high.
- Exposure to elevated radiation levels causes serious health issues and may damage unshielded electronic devices.
Siridor has been occupied by the Jaibok.
- It has been under occupation for around two decades.
- It has been incorporated into the Korsumug Empire.
Siridor is a virtual prison, with shortages of every necessity, declining standards of living, and a brutal Jaibok occupation force.
- Displaced populations from other worlds are resident on Siridor.
- There is an extremely active underground resistance movement.
The Korsumug Immortal Legion Fleet patrols the system.
The standard of the Immortal Legion Fleet.
World Starport[edit]
Siridor has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Siridor has a population of 2,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
World Demographics[edit]
Linguistic Topography[edit]
- Galanglic
- Siri: A dialect local to the region, the most commonly spoken language within the system.
- Kors
World Technology Level[edit]
Siridor possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government[edit]
Siridor has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law[edit]
Siridor has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All blade weapons and firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Military[edit]
All local military forces have been disbanded and military control has been assumed by the Korsumug Empire.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 9 (Moderate)
- Labor: 8 (Hundreds of millions)
- Infrastructure: A (Extensive)
- Efficiency: -1 (Below average)
Trade Data[edit]
Siridor is a major industrial manufand acturer.
- Its chief products include vehicles, machinery, sophisticated components, technological equipment and devices, and consumer goods of all kinds.
- It imports vast amounts of raw materials.
There is particular demand for foodstuffs of all kinds, and fabrics and textiles, especially natural (as opposed to synthetic) products.
- Luxury items command premium prices
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: C (Fragmented)
- Acceptance: C (Xenophilic)
- Strangeness: 8 (Very confusing)
- Symbols: C (Very abstract)
Possession of a live creature (a pet) is considered a status symbol.
