Subsector N of Leonidae Sector, within a region containing no multi-system powers.

Description[edit]

With the exception of high-population Arkwright, this subsector is very underpopulated.

The trailing-rimward part of the subsector is noted for its high number of Agricultural worlds, and these trade with one another frequently. As a consequence, they have developed starport facilities and anti-grav technologies. By contrast, the coreward-spinward region is all but undeveloped.

The system of Leskovik is the only naval power, though Aitken has military strength. Two low-population oligarchies at Atulellar and Zagrathis maintain Naval Bases but not starports; little is known of these odd, small societies -- including whether or not they're related.

Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]

Ruffoi, subsector N of Leonidae, contains 24 worlds with an estimated combined population of 6 billion, a per capita income of Cr601, and a total economy of BCr3,653. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr74 through 13 starports (3 Class A, 3 Class B, 3 Class C, 4 Class D) employing 8,165 people. Driving this interstellar trade are six Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Ruffoi maintain three Naval bases and one Military base. The average technology level is 5 (with most between 1 and 9). The highest technology level is 12 at Hagolton (Leonidae 1538).

Ruffoi, subsector N of Leonidae contains TBD stars; TBD monostellar systems, TBD binary systems, TBD trinary systems, and TBD systems with four or more stars. 22 of the 24 systems (91%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, four Desert (De) worlds, no Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, no Poor (Po) worlds, three Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Ruffoi has an estimated population of 6 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, no Moderate population (Ph) worlds, no Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, 12 Low population (Lo) worlds, and six Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Arkwright (Leonidae 1331). The population consists primarily of 1 sophont group.

Non-Aligned[edit]

There are 19 Non-Aligned worlds in Ruffoi with an estimated combined population of 6 billion.

Unclaimed[edit]

Five worlds in the subsector are under no claimed jurisdiction. These worlds have an estimated combined population of less than 1 million, a per capita income of Cr0, and a total economy of BCr0. Driving this economy are no Agricultural (Ag) worlds, no Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, no Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, no Rich (Ri) worlds, and no Industrial (In) worlds.
