Description (Specifcations)[edit]
Most of the worlds within the Cluster are agricultural, as well as rich.
- Many of the local worlds are interconnected by a snake-like jump route, which gives the Cluster and the subsector its name.
- The Mapepire Subsector has 31.27 billion sentient inhabitants on 33 worlds.
Subsector Summary: 1116[edit]
Mapepire, subsector A of The Beyond contains 32 worlds with an estimated population of 20 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,449, and a total economy is BCr92,560. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr524 through 28 starports (6 Class A, 10 Class B, 9 Class C, 3 Class D) employing 97,215 people. Driving this interstellar trade are 11 Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, four Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, one Pre-Industrial (Pi) world, 11 Rich (Ri) worlds, and two Industrial (In) worlds. The governments in Mapepire maintain six Naval bases, and five Scout bases. The average technology level is 7 (with most between 4 and 10). The highest technology level is 12 at Hunyadi (The Beyond 0103), Alpha Centre (The Beyond 0205), and Mapepire Balsayn (The Beyond 0602).
Mapepire, subsector A of The Beyond contains 51 stars and 295 identified planets; 17 monostellar systems, 12 binary systems, two trinary systems, and one system with four or more stars. 7 of the 32 systems (21%) have native gas giants. There are one Asteroid (As) belt, two Desert (De) worlds, seven Garden (Ga) worlds, no Ice-capped (Ic) worlds, eight Poor (Po) worlds, one Vacuum (Va) world, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.
Mapepire has an estimated population of 20 billion distributed across three High population (Hi) worlds, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 17 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, four Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population worlds are Beaumonde (The Beyond 0402), Marketplace (The Beyond 0810), and Ip (The Beyond 0207). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Like most of Beyond, the Mapepire Subsector was colonized before the Long Night.
- And like most of Beyond, it is still attempting to climb back to its former glories after near ruin during the last gasps of The Ramshackle Empire.
- How well this has been accomplished in this subsector may best be judged by the high preponderance of rich worlds within the famous Mapepire Cluster.
- While travel within Beyond by Imperial citizens is discouraged by the Imperium, many still feel the Cluster to be "the place" to see, if at all possible.
