Holy Jyestha is a nonindustrial vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market.
- It is a member of the Pirbarish Starlane, a member state of the Julian Protectorate, located in the Lasla Subsector of Mendan Sector and is a part of the Vargr Extents.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]
This world is a stronghold of the Human Image, a Solomani culture with Hindu roots.
World Starport[edit]
Holy Jyestha has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Demographics[edit]
Of the 500,000 inhabitants, around 30% are Vargr, the rest human (mostly Solomani).
World Technology Level[edit]
Holy Jyestha possesses a Technology Level of TL–2.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Runners or beast relay, the printing press, long distance signaling such as the heliograph and semaphore.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Water wheels and wind power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:

World Government[edit]
Holy Jyestha is governed by a Religious Dictatorship. The leadership of the government is another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy). There is a powerful independent organization, the state religion, which has influence or direct control of the government. Like the bureaucratic governments this may simply be a strong influence with a secular government, be direct influence by virtue of controlling who may be in the leadership, or be a direct theocracy where the church leadership and bureaucracy is the government.
