Eiebl is a rich, agricultural garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- This is a rich world with a prosperous and thriving world economy.
- Its economy and population are rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to quickly rise barring outside forces.
- It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Eiebl Subsector of Fulani Sector.
- It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
- It is a balmy tropical world, with a climate of high temperatures.
- The world is home to a large population of Chirpers.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Eiebl has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow main sequence.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x4 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Eiebl is a satellite of a gas giant.
The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.
- They lie within the zone's warmer inner H+ region
- They receive higher levels of stellar energy.
- The gas giant is "puffy", hot and swollen due to the energy it receives from the star.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Eiebl is a Meso World between 8,800km and 10,400km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.6G and 0.8G. The horizon will appear about 4.4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Eiebl has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Eiebl has 45-55% of its surface covered by liquid water. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly dry world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life occupying every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Eiebl is a quiet backwater with very little development. Some of the planets and moons within the system have never had an intelligent being visit them.
- The resources of the system are largely untapped.
There is little activity within the system.
- Commercial traffic is extremely rare: the system sees very few visiting ships.
- Commo only picks up natural background noise and static.
- Vessels almost never operate among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
The world is home to a large community of Chirpers, who appear to have been present on the world for multiple millennia.
- They live in small tribal groups.
- They are nominally ruled by a hereditary class of high priests.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Eiebl does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Eiebl has a population of 80 million Chirpers.
Urbanization[edit]
Multiple small urban centers are surrounded by tiny satellite communities.
- Inhabited areas are dotted across the world.
- Settlements are surrounded by large areas of cultivated land.
- Much of the surface of the world remains as wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Eiebl possesses a Technology Level of TL–0.
- These worlds often contain a Proto-Sophont species beginning to establish a nascent civilization and society.
- This world is in its Alpha Period and has not yet been interfered with by a higher technology civilization.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Bodily communicative apparati, courier-runners, and smoke signals.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Bodily muscle.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Bodily locomotion, riding beasts, and litters or sedan chairs.
- Water: Swimming, rafts, and canoes.
- Air: Typically not available unless a bodily ability.
World Government (G)[edit]
Eiebl is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be a monarchy, with titles passed to family members, or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Alternatively, the organization may be a more typical government apparatus, only with positions of power inherited.
- Society is controlled by a Priesthood known for its wisdom.
- New members are carefully chosen from among the population.
- Secret rituals surround the process of elevating a selected Chirper to a priestly role.
World Military[edit]
Small warrior bands protecting individual communities.
World Law (L)[edit]
Eiebl has no law in practice. It is an Anarchy. On many worlds, this by itself justifies an Amber Zone advisory. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 6 (few)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: 4 (very limited)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 0 (unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 4 (harmonious)
- Acceptance: 7 (aloof)
- Strangeness: 4 (somewhat typical)
- Symbols: 1 (extremely concrete)
