Subsector M of Datsatl Sector.
Aydirsoth Subsector is located far away from most of Charted Space.
- It is named for the Droyne drone caste. When the subsectors of Datsatl Sector were named in 1063, the Wave Chasers were still two subsectors to coreward, in Ayssath Subsector. It was uncertain at the time if they would colonize several of the systems adjacent to their route (making this subsector analogous to a Droyne nest -- thus the imagery of the motherly Droyne caste) -- or just continue making a straight path. Ultimately, they chose the latter option.
