Aiahoih is an agricultural, nonindustrial world still lacking adequate means to expand its economy.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal in the Shillelagh Subsector of Iphigenaia Sector.
- It is a binary world.
- It is a chilly tundra world, with a climate of low temperatures.
- This world-system hosts a Naval Base, usually associated with military starships, which may be located on or off-world.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Aiahoih has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x5 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Aiahoih is the major component in a binary planet pair.
- The two worlds have a similar mass.
- The two worlds orbit a barycenter once every few days.
The mainworld and its binary companion orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.
- They lie within the zones colder outer H- region.
- They receive lower levels of stellar energy.
- They orbit beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Aiahoih is a Big World between 13,600km and 15,200km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1G and 1.3G. The horizon will appear about 5.4km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.
- Tidal stresses generated by the worlds binary companion cause frequent seismic and geological activity.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Aiahoih has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–3 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Aiahoih has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.
- The world experiences low temperatures.
- Much of the surface is covered in glaciers, pack ice, and ice sheets.
Satellites:[edit]
Aiahoih retains a large close thin atmosphere binary planet companion.
- The two worlds are a similar mass.
- The two worlds orbit a barycenter once every few days.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, predominantly watery world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Abundant native life filling every available ecological niche. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
- Native life thrives in low temperatures.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Aiahoih is relatively busy, with an expanding economy and gradually improving standards of living.
- It is a member of the Aslan Hierate Kyatulyare Vassal.
- The resources of the system are being exploited.
A number of businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.
- Commercial traffic is fairly frequent: ships regularly arrive and depart.
- Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in Trokh.
- Multiple commercial navigation beacons will be active.
- A few vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.
- Aslan naval vessels may be active in the system.
Aslan settlement began during the 1060s: prior to this it was a barren world.
- The world falls under the broad purview of the Seieakh and Aokhalte clans.
- Construction is ongoing in many areas.
Note that social data, though only 40 years old, may be out of date.
- Verified updated data is constantly sought.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Aiahoih has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- A Naval Base is sited within the system.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Aiahoih has a population of 7 million Aslan.
Urbanization[edit]
A single large urban center is surrounded by smaller satellite communities.
- The population are concentrated into a single relatively densely populated region.
- Much of the surface of the world remains as wilderness.
All buildings are constructed in the distinctive curved style of the Aslan.
- The oldest structures on the world are no more than 50 years old.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Aiahoih possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Aiahoih is governed by a single Aslan Clan as part of a multi-world polity or pocket empire. Members of ruling clan are present to effect government leadership.
- The human government code listed on star charts corresponds to Aslan Government Code K.
World Military[edit]
Approximately 40,000 professional warriors, in service to the clan authorities.
World Law (L)[edit]
Aiahoih has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: 7 (few)
- Labor: 5 (hundreds of thousands)
- Infrastructure: 5 (limited)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: -3 (very unimportant)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 3 (monolithic)
- Acceptance: 7 (aloof)
- Strangeness: 8 (very confusing)
- Symbols: 8 (somewhat abstract)
World Timeline[edit]
