Aekhel is a poor, nonindustrial hellworld with a population struggling to survive in an inhospitable environment.

• Hellworlds often offer daily, and sometimes even hourly, life-threatening situations to their inhabitants. Survivors often form intense survival skills and tend to be grim realists.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
• This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
• It is a member of the Asimikigir Confederation, part of the Julian Protectorate, located in the Kaasam Subsector of Mendan Sector of the Vargr Extents.
