- Rabbuck: Grazer. Herd animal, not domesticated. An amalgam of a White Tail deer, and a Rabbit. Very tasty meat!
Breeds like...well, Rabbits!
- Falanx: Pack Hunter. Pack hunter, Primary prey is Rabbuck. moderate size, somewhat aggressive.
- Blue Runner: Fish. Fresh water fish, nocturnal, fluoresces when feeding creating spectacular light shows. Good eatin', but it takes a lot of them.
- Sween: Small bird. Feeds on ground insects, early mornings and evenings. Huge flocks can create a cacophony while feeding.

CoW Corp of Engineers dammed a moderately sized river, creating a large fresh water lake. The dam provides hydro-electric power to Port End, and the surrounding environs.
Starport draws water from the lake, fueling 2 moderately sized fusion plants (TL A), and powering a cracking plant for refined ship fuel. Also providing supplementary power for Port End.

Predominantly, the culture is based on the Council of the Wise. However, a certain 'frontier' mentality has taken hold, since most of the population has become disaffected with the regimentation, and regulations that form the government of the Council. The current Chief Administrator for the Council is one of these people.
