The Dayvan class Runabout is a civilian smallcraft.
Description
The Dayvan class Runabout provides a low-cost method of carrying five or six people on short (business or pleasure) trips. The typical journey is from surface to orbit, but some operators use it as a VTOL/hypersonic transport and appreciate the dedicated cabin space and seating that is more akin to airliners on pre-grav atmospheric worlds, as well as the luxury of a wet bar. The Dayvan class Runabout is equipped with a crew droid, as backup capability and to ease certain problems that certain operators get into, such the pilot getting intoxicated.
