The Iper’mar can be found on numerous low-tech worlds in Fornast, Ley, the Imperial Empty Quarter, and the Spinward Marches: running starports; life support, power, and communication systems on low-tech worlds; maintaining high-tech, high-profit schools on backwater worlds; advising low-tech elites on interstellar society and technology; and providing mid- and high-tech medical care to those individuals who can pay for it.
