This world's population has grown far beyond its capability to support, and its location within the Great Rift makes offworld assistance virtually impossible. The natural aquifers over which most of the world's teeming cities are built are starting to run dry. Tensions between the local clans are rising fast.

The people of Uikhyrleirla do have access to nearby Ktehrahe. The main barrier to colonisation of Ktehrahe is the fact that whichever clan lands settlers first is likely to be attacked by all the others.

Uikhyrleirla has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions.
