While the thin atmosphere does not require survival gear this atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds which requires the use of a Filter Mask. History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Ktelrahe has an excellent starport -- at least according to official starcharts -- but virtually no planetary population. Several clans based on Uikhyrleirla have joint ownership, and as is often the way of multi-clan endeavours, initial progress was good but cooperation soon disintegrated, leaving the development project in shambles.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Ktelrahe has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Note that in this case, the starport is A-class in name only. Most of the key components of a Class-A installation are present but the orbital station itself is little more than a framework connecting them. Access between some parts of the port requires a shuttle transit.
