Albaen has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Albaen has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

• They are cold-dwelling, semi-humanoid, heavily built, six-armed, white-pelted forest-dwellers with a notably dour nature and a fascination with craftsmanship.
• First contact occurred millennia ago.

It is a Puzzle World and is designated as an Amber Zone. It presents particular risks and dangers due to the environment or native life forms, laws or customs, or other conditions that are not well understood.

• Visitors are advised to act with caution.

Many businesses, organizations, and private interests are active within the system.

• Commercial traffic is relatively frequent: ships occasionally arrive and depart.
• Commo is filled with signals and private chatter. Communications are in local languages.
• One or two commercial navigation beacons may be active.
• A few vessels may be operating among the other worlds and moons that make up the system.

Albaen has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors).
