Fiqorino Subsector is Subsector J of Astron Sector.

  • It lies within Charted Space.
  • It is a wild and remote wilderness.

Description / Specifications[edit]

Borealis Group

Fiqorino Subsector is a unpopulated and undeveloped wilderness. Some worlds within the region have never had an intelligent being visit them.

  • The resources of the subsector remain entirely untapped.

Astrographic Features & Trade Routes: 1105[edit]

The following astrographic and commercial data has been determined regarding Fiqorino Subsector:

  • The subsector is a relatively low stellar density region.
  • The brightest star is an unstable yellow subgiant lying within hex 1224.
  • There is one rift region within the subsector.
  • No trade routes are noted as crossing the region.

Stellar Distribution[edit]

A basic map showing the distribution and size of stars within Fiqorino Subsector, right:

  • The color corresponds to the visible color of the star, which links to its spectral classification.
  • The size as shown indicates both the physical size of the object and its relative brightness.

Note that the stars as depicted are representative. Any star, no matter what its size, is a mere speck within the hex it occupies.

  • Ordinary main sequence stars can barely be seen from even a hex away.
  • Huge, intensely luminous giant stars can be seen from across the subsector and far beyond.

Rift Regions[edit]

One rift region lies within the subsector: the Longer Void.

A simple map showing rift regions within Fiqorino Subsector, right:

Locally at least, a rift is an astrographic concept based on Jump Drive performance.

The highest tech level commonly encountered out this Far Along (spinward of the Third Imperium) is TL–12, though a few worlds may be more advanced.

Borealis Group[edit]

The Borealis Group can be seen as a bright, dense, noticeable grouping of stars in the skies to rimward.

World Listing: 1105[edit]

Comprehensive Second Survey data for all worlds lying within Fiqorino Subsector is available.

  • The primary source material for all data is Traveller Map.
  • Other sources may differ: some elements of the data may be contradictory or incorrect.
  • Data is occasionally updated as new information becomes available.
  • Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.

AAB library archives contain expanded data about the following systems:

20 Worlds in the Fiqorino Subsector
Amursil  •  Casik  •  Culaski  •  Dosobor  •  Fastry  •  Foralis  •  Fydir  •  Kevero  •  Lossitor  •  Medlid  •  Metrovus  •  Noscid  •  Relovan  •  Rudigh  •  Sar Jaravin  •  Temur's Rock  •  Uscaru  •  Vescu  •  Yantil  •  Zalotav  •

Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.

  • Verified updated data is constantly sought.

Subsector Summary: 1105[edit]

Note that this section is awaiting an AAB Interal Records update.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]

Fiqorino Subsector is a remote backwater with almost no activity or development within its borders.

Very rarely, the following groups may be encountered:

  • Small numbers of Human pioneers and explorers of assorted origin.
  • Rag-tag Human refugees from rimward, fleeing the Jaibok raiding.

Polity Listing: 1105[edit]

No polities are known to exist within (or make any claim upon) the subsector.

Native Sophonts (NILs): 1105[edit]

No Native Intelligent Lifeforms (sophont species) are believed to have originated within this area.

Demographics: 1105[edit]

The subsector is unpopulated.
