History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
These worlds were originally member systems of the Atsak Federation, a disintegrating Vargr state in the early years of exploration by the Third Imperium. The Atsak Federation had indeed disintegrated fully by the time the Atsah Subsector was incorporated into the Imperium in 200. The members of the Atsah Cultural Region (other than Atsah itself) are technically independent worlds outside the Imperium, but have very close associations with the Imperial Navy and the Starport Authority.
