History & Background (Dossier)

This world was attractive enough to be settled by several clans in competition. Wide separation between settlements meant little conflict, but -- perhaps because Ryo was relatively forgiving -- too little effort was made to ensure growth and stability of early colonies. The result was an inability to sustain equipment and a gradual slide towards a more basic existence once initial support missions ended.

Ryo has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair.
