The Volks-Kutter class Modular Gig is a civilian smallcraft.
Description[edit]
The Volks-Kutter class Modular Gig combines the versatility of two Imperial smallcraft: the Tradesman's Gig and the Modular Cutter. The little Volks-Kutter class Modular Gig is a common sight at orbital construction facilities in the Sword Worlds and neighboring Imperial subsectors. Its strength is its wide range of 6-ton modules. Although the Workshop and Medical modules are the most commonly produced, there are several popular variants.
The reaction drive should only be used when the Volks-Kutter class Modular Gig is carrying a module.
The cockpit includes an extra control station, and the power plant a bit of extra power, to provide for potential needs of the module.
