History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The Qelf are hostile to humans, due to cultural memories of a conflict against an extinct human population, possibly left by the Ancients (or descended from a population stranded on Valdak during the Final War). Exploration and contact parties from both the Ziru Sirka and the Rule of Man were violently rejected. The Qelf are now in semi-regular contact with the Julian Protectorate, with a D-class starport having been established, but only non-Human members of the Protectorate are welcomed.
World Starport[edit]
Valdak has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
