History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas is a Droyne world. Out in the Great Rift, little is known about its culture or government, although the latter probably follows the usual Droyne caste system. There seems to be no starport as such, however the Droyne cities are estimated at a mature TL-13.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas does not have a starport. The Class X Starport is an indication that no starport exists in the system. There are no facilities or services available, and no site marked for landing.
World Population (P)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas has a population of 3,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
World Demographics[edit]
Droyne organise themselves into oytripin, which consist of multiple tyafelmin and dreskayin, and can produce kroylosses.
The Droyne, who live a technological lifestyle, interact with the pastoral Chirpers in a limited way, trading foodstuffs for mass-produced tools. Neither seems to envy anything of the other's lifestyle. Some Droyne, however, do act as protectors for the Chirpers, and Droyne warriors armed with fusion guns have been spotted fighting alongside Chirpers who wield spears and bows. It is known that the Droyne of Daydyor Yashas tolerate no mistreatment of Chirpers by visitors.
It is rumoured that a secondary world in this system supports a sophont race called Nasedran; this has not been confirmed by the IISS.
World Languages[edit]
- Oynprith
- Droyne Languages: Oynprith is a ceremonial and ritualistic language apparently universal among Droyne communities. Other languages are used in casual day-to-day affairs.
Urbanization[edit]
The Droyne live an urban life, and embrace high technology. The Chirpers live low-tech lives in the rural parts of the planet. Although Daydyor Yashas has no starport as such, each Droyne city has a landing area, normally used for grav vehicles but large enough for a ship of up to 400 tons.
World Government (G)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Law Level (L)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas has a low law level. There are few laws, covering only important areas. There may be few or no law enforcement officers, the expectation is citizens will bring law breakers to the attention of the Judicial system. Legal proceedings will be fast, with few people involved. For interactions outside of the framework of the laws, cultural norms dominate. Machine guns, other automatic weapons, portable energy weapons, and other military weapons, body pistols, explosives, and poison gas are typically regulated or prohibited.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Daydyor Yashas possesses a Technology Level of TL–13 or TL-D in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovideo recorders.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, prototype collectors, advanced fusion plants.
