Tepas is an industrial, high-population fluidic world with a billion or more sophonts in size.
- A fluid world has an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Phoenix Subsector of Theta Borealis Sector.
- This is a cold world with an overall climate that is at the lower temperature range of human-congruous sophont endurance.
- This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
- The world has a small Burugdi enclave.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Tepas has a solitary primary star.
- It is a yellow-white main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x5 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 planetoid belt.
Mainworld Data[edit]
The mainworld orbits within the star's Habitable Zone.
- It lies within the zones colder outer H- region.
- It receives lower levels of stellar energy.
- The world orbits beyond the stars Jump Shadow.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Tepas is a Big World between 15,200km and 16,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 1.1G and 1.5G. The horizon will appear about 5.7km away. Vessels with only 1G of thrust should avoid landing on this world.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Tepas has an Exotic Atmosphere and possesses an unusual gas mix which requires the use of oxygen tanks, but protective suits not necessary, but are recommended. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Tepas has 65-75% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Satellites:[edit]

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
- Locally, detailed maps may be available.
- Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
- Detailed survey data commands premium prices.
(Placeholder chart, exotic world.)
Native Lifeforms[edit]
Exotic aquatic native life. Its metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Tepas is a thriving, bustling center of commerce and trade.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Tepas has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Tepas has a population of 5 billion.
- Approximately 1 million Burugdi are resident on the world.
- They inhabit large, isolated, well-defended enclaves.
- The human inhabitants do not trust them.
Urbanization[edit]
A single vast metropolis is home to the entire population.
- The metropolis is divided into large districts.
- The city is sealed against local environmental conditions.
- Most of the surface of the world remains as wilderness.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Tepas possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Holovision, Personal Global Communications, and advanced Translators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Increasingly advanced fusion plants and advanced fuel cells.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land & Water: Grav belts and maturing gravcraft.
- Air: Greatly improved hybrid grav-aircraft.
- Space: Improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-1.
World Government (G)[edit]
Tepas is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are young governments, coming as a recent change and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
World Military[edit]
No information yet available.
World Law (L)[edit]
Tepas has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A world with this law level may be an Amber Zone or a Red Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors). Civilian movement is rigidly controlled. Travel documents are frequently checked. There is no legal concept of privacy (save for those who can claim necessity for official government business). The police are free to inspect anyone and anything at any time.
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: E (extremely abundant)
- Labor: 8 (hundreds of millions)
- Infrastructure: E (comprehensive)
- Efficiency: +5 (very advanced)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 4 (important)
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: C (fragmented)
- Acceptance: D (very xenophobic)
- Strangeness: 8 (very confusing)
- Symbols: D (very abstract)
