The Sylean Protectorate is a defunct polity that was located in Core Sector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

The Protectorate was an administrative subdivision of the Rule of Man (actually originally a locally autonomous portion of the Antares Imperium) created in -1900 to alleviate the strain of administering 11,000 star systems. The Protectorate encompassed an area roughly corresponding to the eight coreward subsectors of Core sector plus a number of systems in the rimward portions of Lishun and Antares sectors.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Governor Frances Repzinski and her descendants ruled Sylea from -1900 to -905.

Under Francis Repzinski, the 12th High Protector of Sylea, the Sylean Protectorate expanded into the territories of the Hub/Ershur Imperium, but after his death in -1548, the Protecorate began to rapidly shrink.
