Supra-Species

A Supra-Species is a sophontilogical term for a sophont species that has evolved advanced life sciences that have allowed two distinct species to combine into members of one symbiotic race through technology.

• The Lamura, composed of the genetically distinct Lamura Gav and Lamura Teg, are the best known Supra-species.

History & Background (Dossier)

TL-15 cannot create a fully developed supra-species, but the geneering of the Ancients can and many researchers think it did. Perhaps many times.

• An undetermined number of experiments occurred during the Final War, and the vast numbers of these experiments employed often very different kinds of technologies. Some of the Ancients clearly had interests in advanced bioengineering, uplift, and the creation of new life.

Lamura Supra-species

No just allied races, but genetically intertwined through the advent of advanced technology. Some believe that the Lamura were one such geneering project of the Ancients.

• Lamura Gav, a pseudo-arachnoid species.
• Lamura Teg, a human-like species.
