Aioaoa is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Aioaoa has a pressure of 0.10 to 0.42 atmospheres. The very thin pressures require a respirator or Oxygen Mask. This atmosphere also contains an unusual taint such as disease, a hazardous gas mix, pollutants, or sulfur compounds, which requires the use of a Filter Respirator Combination Mask. Some taints may require more protective equipment. TL–5 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.

Aioaoa has 55-65% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has significant large liquid bodies. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Aioaoa clan for whom the world is named believe that land is a distraction from the proper focus of an Aslan’s life: honour. Thus, the entire clan owns land, and no ahriy or individual can claim territory or maintain possessions greater than their need. This belief, and ultra-combative ideas about honour, caused the Aioaoa to be expelled from the Aslan Hierate. After being chased from two previous homeworlds, they established themselves on this world in 80.

World Starport

Aioaoa has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Population (P)

Aioaoa has a population of 5,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).

• High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
• The population consists entirely of Aslan.

Urbanization

Aslan architecture tends to the organic and the rounded. They favour artistry over efficiency in the design of their buildings -- every Aslan structure is different. Even in mass-produced housing, residents will strive to make their territory uniquely theirs.

• Since Aslan descend from predators and enjoy open terrain, their buildings often feature both open rooms of great size and a number of concealed rooms, balconies, hidden passageways and hideaways.

Aioaoa is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

World Law (L)

Aioaoa has an extreme law level which covers every area of interaction. Laws are complex, detailed, and difficult to understand. Every interaction with the government requires an Advocate. Law enforcement is omnipresent and strict. Legal proceeding can take months to years to resolve and may involve dozens of people. A few worlds with this law level may be a Red Zone and others will be an Amber Zone. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (with no exception for private residences; visiting starships are only protected so long as they stay within designated starports and approach corridors).
