Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Saell is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Saell has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Within the Ruhk Odzuetarug Subsector, Saell is among the highest technology systems, currently under the control of the Vargr alliance known as the Worlds of Rukh.
The planet is listed as a green travel zone with no special restrictions for Sophont citizens of the appropriate political alliance.
There is a Vargr Naval Base here to protect and enforce the will of the government.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Saell has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.
System Population (P)[edit]
10 billion, mostly Vargr. 7 billion live on the mainworld.
World Languages[edit]
The official language is Gvegh, but given the huge population of the planet, many areas have unique languages and cultures.
Urbanization[edit]
The entire planetary body is covered in a layer of urban development. In many places, entire square kilometers are completely covered over. Agricultural products are the chief import for the planet.
Vargr cities are lively and chaotic, full of garish colours and loud noises. Streets are packed and buildings press together. Vehicle traffic is fast and chaotic; the accident rate is low only because of superior Vargr reflexes. Zoning codes are rare, and districts jumble together.
World Government (G)[edit]
Saell is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are typically young governments, coming as a recent change, and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.
- Corruption is common in the Worlds of Leader Rukh; bribes are made to officials to avoid certain taxes, and charismatic individuals can talk their way out of most potential problems and fees.
- To reduce any dissident movements within the military, soldiers are paid and treated well.
World Technology Level (TL)[edit]
Saell possesses a Technology Level of TL–14 or TL-E in Hexadecimal Notation.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Early meson communicators.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Miniature super-batteries, early collectors, and advanced fusion plants.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land, Water & Air: Personal G-Tubes and advanced gravcraft.
- Space: Advanced interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
- FTL: Jump Drive-5.
Economy[edit]
- Saell is home to a company called Oulaekho Arms. This weapon producer sells its wares to most of the worlds in the sector.
- The firm does also have several subsidiaries around the Spinward part of Gvurrdon.
- Gvaeknoks has a share in their weapon production plant on Ghenkerongolu (Gvurrdon 1528). This plant is called Dokhoullae.
Trade Data[edit]
System Classifications :
- High-Population
- World Trade Number (WTN) : 5.5
- Per Capita Income (WPCI) : $ 15,000
World Timeline[edit]
Notable events affecting this world and the surrounding region include the following:
- 1058: Founding of the Worlds of Leader Rukh, a new polity ruled by the eponymous Vargr.
- 1069: Several governments unite to form the Gnoerrgh Rukh Lloell (Anti-Rukh Coalition). The leaders of these six worlds in Spurl Subsector have no desire to become part of Rukh's empire; with Rukh's fleet spread over four subsectors the combined forces of the Coalition are able to defend their territories and maintain their independence from Rukh’s influence.
- 1097: Death of Rukh, in an assault on the Zhodani-claimed world of Khoeghersaeng. The nation continues, after a period of instability.
