The Basachshe of Stane are a Minor Non-Human Race native to Astron Sector.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Basachshe are semi-humanoid walking omnivores, adapted to plains terrain.

  • Though omnivorous, they have a distinct preference for fresh meat, particularly live prey.

Physiology[edit]

  • Bilateral HS-TB-AN-LN-N
  • Bony skeleton
  • Humours fluids
  • Skin
  • Gripper manipulators

Basachshe have a stocky torso, two arms, two legs, and a cone-shaped head containing their primary sensory organs. The brain is located in the upper part of the torso. The leathery sensory dome atop the body can stretch and twist, allowing the sensory organs to be directed. Each arm terminates in two long "fingers" that each end in grippers. The legs are articulated "backwards" compared to those of a Human.

A typical Basachshe stands around 1.5 meters tall and weighs in the region of 50 kg.

Social Description[edit]

Basachshe are described as officious, organized, and contented. They are ruled by an ancient and bureaucratic world-empire that is beginning to fragment.

Local Government[edit]

Stane is governed by an Impersonal Bureaucracy. The leadership of the government takes another form (democracy, dictatorship, oligarchy), but the bureaucracy dictates government policy and its execution. Government leadership is reduced to little more than figureheads and does not select the bureaucracy leadership or its members.

Local Law[edit]

Stane has a moderate law level with laws covering many areas of government and interaction. These laws are simple enough that most people can act as their own advocate, though for serious issues a professional is recommended. Law enforcement officials will be present, but not in great numbers. All firearms, and anything more destructive, are typically regulated or prohibited.
