Aihoilrual is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and is also a low-population vacuum environment with a population of less than 10,000 sophonts, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by Aslan sophonts located in the Ealisyw Subsector of Harea Sector.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Aihoilrual is a binary star system.
- The primary is a red main sequence.
- The secondary is a brown dwarf substellar object.

Notes[edit]
The star and the brown dwarf have an average separation of 0.2 AU and orbit a barycenter that lies between them.
- They have an orbital period around one another of 95.3 standard days.
System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x2 secondary worlds
- x3 planetoid belts.
- x3 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Aihoilrual is an Asteroid Belt mainworld.
It has a circumbinary orbit, orbiting both the star and the brown dwarf in the outer system.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Aihoilrual is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
None of the bodies within the Aihoilrual belt retain an atmosphere.
- The belt is in vacuum conditions, requiring the use of a Vacc Suit.
- TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
The Aihoilrual belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.
- Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
- Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Placeholder chart, asteroid belt.)
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This world has been settled by ihatei Aslan, moving to spinward along the edge of the Great Rift in search of new territories.
- Settlement within the region has been sporadic, largely occurring between the year 1000 and the 1060s.
- Prior to settlement, Aihoilrual was a barren world.
World Starport[edit]
Aihoilrual has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Demographics[edit]
Population 500 Aslan.
World Languages[edit]
- Trokh: The universal language of the modern Aslan monoculture.
- Aslan Languages: Note that some Aslan clans retain obscure or archaic languages for personal use in addition to Trokh.
World Technology Level[edit]
Aihoilrual possesses a Technology Level of TL–9.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Early fusion power.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Ultra high-speed trains and early grav vehicles.
- Water: High efficiency sailcraft, multihulled seacraft, improved artificial gills.
- Air: Tiltrotorcraft, exotic VTOL's, PARWIG, and rocket-assisted suborbitals.
- Space: SSTO spacecraft, early military spacecraft (System Craft), and interstellar STL starships
- FTL: Prototype Jump Drive-1.
World Government[edit]
Aihoilrual is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be a monarchy, with titles passed to family members, or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Alternatively, the organization may be a more typical government apparatus, only with positions of power inherited.
