• It is a member of the Izrats Kriezhlas Unity in the Izh Kriezhlal Subsector of Yiklerzdanzh Sector.

• It is a mainworld which is a satellite of either a gas giant or another world.
• This is a temperate world, with a climate of pleasant, average temperatures, considered to be an ideal or near-ideal environment by many different sophont species.
• This world has an Interface Base, with similarities to a Scout Base, but also functioning as a Trade Base and Customs Facility.

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

• The mainworld.
• x4 planetoid belts.
• x1 gas giant.

The system does not contain any secondary rocky worlds. Evidence suggests that in the distant past all four of the system's planetoid belts were planets.

Itsplanzhikar is a satellite of a gas giant.

• The gas giant has a planetary ring.

The mainworld and its gas giant primary orbit within the star's Habitable Zone.

• They lie within the zones prime H region.
• They receive moderate levels of stellar energy.
• The gas giant is "puffy", warm and swollen due to the energy it receives from the star.

• They orbit beyond the stars Jump Shadow.

Itsplanzhikar is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)

Itsplanzhikar has a pressure of 0.43 to 0.70 atmospheres. The Thin Atmosphere does not require survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

• It experiences moderate temperatures.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)

Itsplanzhikar has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.

History & Background (Dossier)

Itsplanzhikar was one of the first settled worlds of the Unity. With a temperate climate, the only original problem was lack of native life. Over the millennia, introduced species have solved this problem and also helped maintain a standard atmosphere.

Itsplanzhikar is one of the most technologically advanced systems in the Unity (and the sector).

Starport

There is an attractive ring system in close orbit of Itsplanzhikar. The ring has the disadvantage of making orbital operations difficult, so the main facilities of the starport are on its second moon. All trade, customs, and immigration are channelled through this facility.
