Airhand (E1) is the lowest rank of a Flyer in the Imperial Army. It is this rank that the Close Orbit and Airspace Control Command troops are given when they first pass their Basic Training.
- The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army (Ground Force Command) is Private.
- The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army (Nautical Force Command) is Sailor Apprentice.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Airhand is the historic term for a Flyer without rank. The term "Airhand" originally described the fact that the Sophont would have been working with Aircraft.
