The Xeng Kirr class Space Ark is a Civilian Ship.
- It is a Liner.
Description (Specifications)
Designed as a long range colonizer spaceship, the Space Ark has a streamlined flattened sphere configuration with fuel scoops and refineries to facilitate ocean refueling. They carry ten 200 ton heavy shuttles. They have defensive screens, a redundant bridge and a back up model 9 fib computer. They have a low watch for the crew, they can carry a security force with drop capsules. There is enough space for 2,000 colonists to be awake at one time, the rest rotate in the 6,000 low berths. There are also 593 emergency low berths. A squadron of twenty of these massive vessels are in orbit around Emyzi (world). They are in Krotan Primacy territory, no one is sure of their allegiance, despite the obvious K'kree naval architecture.
Basic Ship Characteristics

The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]
