The Ostren Peninsula is a small grouping of stars that projects into the Talokan Void, a [[Rift|rift region within Mavuzog Sector.

The Principality of Mavuzo is gradually expanding into the region.

The member worlds have a shared cultural tradition and language with the Mavuzo.

Population: 90,000.

The Trace was invaded and occupied by the Korsumug Empire during the 1080s.

The Jaibok are known to have committed mass executions and other atrocities during their conquest.
Many of the human populations were displaced and now live as refugees on free systems.

ca 400: first known surveys of the region (retrieved from a Talokani data archive).
ca 1000: The Principality of Mavuzo begins economic development within the region.
