The Dunfermline class Light Frigate is a light warship.
- It is a military ship and a Light Frigate.
Description (Specifications)
These vessels often sporting lurid hull paint, grinning skulls, and often feature flames as well. This practice was unique among this class for some reason and was quickly extinguished among the fleet command structure. Despite their speed, they had little to brag about. They carried a small marine platoon with a trio of G-carriers at their disposal. Their laser batteries were often called for to provide to provide point defense along with the sand to shield them from missile attack. Their hull armor was considered sub-standard, and was a required trade off in order to mount the spinal meson gun, the true ship killer.
