Conda is a high-population, industrial world with a billion or more sophonts in population size.
- As an industrial world, this planet has well-developed manufacturing and processing industries. Manufactured goods are a major export item.
- Its economy is rapidly growing and living conditions are expected to rapidly improve barring outside forces.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Conda Subsector of Daibei Sector in the Domain of Ilelish.
- The world serves as the subsector capital with the significant extra trade and prestige associated with that role.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- This is a "Puzzle" world designated as an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor.
- It has a colony at Dunker (Daibei 2818).
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
Mainworld Data[edit]
At 9 billion, the Conda mainworld is the most populated world in the subsector.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
In the 990s, Conda was fairly important in the realm of Imperial-Solomani politics. The Imperium spent effort on maintaining its prestige in the eyes of Conda's people, lest the Solomani Confederation tempt them into attempted secession.
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Conda has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Population (P)[edit]
Conda has a population of 9,000,000,000 sophonts (billions).
- High Population Worlds like this tend to have huge consumer markets.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The following languages are among the most commonly used here:
- Core Anglic: One of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Third Imperium. Daibei's Core Anglic is also influenced by Rim Anglic.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
