The 2nd Fleet is the Numbered Imperial fleet serving the Third Imperium stationed in the Chant Subsector of the Core Sector.

The Third Imperium maintains 15 Naval bases, seven Scout bases, and one Way station in Chant Subsector.
The ships of the 2nd are outdated, underfunded and desperately in need of a refit. Fortunately, the fleet has more than its share of auxiliary spacecraft.
