Historical Eras
Formed in 925 from portions of the Galian Trade League, the Galian Federation is the heir of that earlier polity. This followed internal revolts in the Galian Trade League between approximately 300 and 800. The Galian Federation is considerably smaller than the earlier Trade League, having lost systems that now compose, the Plavian League, Trindel Confederacy, Vinyard Concourse, and Mische Conglomerate. Following several regional wars, culminating in the Battle of Coralee in (754) the Treaty of Umbrin (758) was signed establishing the independence of these groups. Since the late 700's the Galian Federation has been involved in numerous disputes and small wars with these neighboring polities over control of nearby unaligned systems.
