The Yetsabl class Courier is a TL–15 Zhodani-designed communications starship.

  • Some reports record this as the Yetsasl-class Courier.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

A recent design (based on traditional prototypes) from the TL–15 shipyards in the Zhodani core, this swift and elegant starship is a private vessel used by senior government officials for travel and diplomatic purposes. It is named after a racing beast found on Zhdant.

The Yetsabl-class Zhodani courier is a sleek space-plane design, created for the interstellar transport of important personnel, and used primarily by government officials for diplomatic purposes. It is easily recognizable by it’s delta wing and canard foreplanes (which aid in high speed atmospheric maneuvering). The placement of the fuel tanks is believed to be an augmentation to the ship’s standard skin radiation shielding.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

It is a ship serving with the Zhodani Navy.

Zhodani couriers are a separate design from Zhodani scout vessels, unlike the Imperial practice of using the same hull for both. Zhodani couriers are larger than Zhodani scouts, and contain more and better passenger staterooms and fittings.

The vessel’s mission often takes it outside the Consulate, and it is the Zhodani vessel most commonly encountered in Imperial space. Couriers are normally considered civilian vessels, and as such no special military escort is required. As a courtesy, however, Zhodani vessels check in with Imperial authorities at all major starports (class C or larger), especially if there is a Naval or Scout base present.
