Valishad is a ring of many small worldlets (planetoids AKA an "asteroid belt"), not capable of retaining an atmosphere or water, and nonindustrial in nature.

  • These worldlets warrant hazardous environment precautions.
  • Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
  • The worldlets require extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • It is a member world of the Tenjada Moralitate located in the Tangal Subsector of Mavuzog Sector.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Stellar Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Mainworld Data[edit]

Valishad is an Asteroid Belt mainworld.

The Belt orbits within the outer system.

Chart Outer As Mw.png

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Valishad is an Asterioid Belt or Planetoid Belt consisting of a few very large objects with diameters of hundreds of kilometers, thousands of bodies of a few kilometers in diameter, and millions of smaller objects. Asteroid Belt is used when the belt is the mainworld of a system. Planetoid Belt refers to any non-mainworld belt within a system.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

None of the bodies within the Valishad belt retain an atmosphere.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

The Valishad belt contains a few icy bodies. A few belt objects have frozen volatiles on their surfaces.

  • Wilderness refueling is possible within the belt, provided a suitable icy object can be found.
  • Water for the inhabitants is generally imported and is extensively recycled.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held chart of the belt exists within AAB Library Data records.

  • Locally, detailed maps may be available.
  • Verified updated charts are constantly sought.
  • Detailed survey data commands premium prices.

World Starport[edit]

Valishad has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Technology Level[edit]

Valishad possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Valishad is governed by a Feudal Technocracy. Society divides itself based on the technical requirements of the society. Each of these functions are granted as a fief to an individual or group. Leadership of these fiefs determines the head of the government.

World Military[edit]

A battalion of marines is assigned as a garrison of the starport. Battalions rotate and serve four years on station before being rotated home. They are expected to bring their families. Any Moralitate member world can be called upon to provide these forces. As a result, the quality and equipment level of the garrison forces can vary substantially from deployment to deployment.

World Law[edit]

Like all worlds in the Tenjada Moralitate, Valishad has a strong core of faithful who move from satrap to satrap, ensuring the purity and loyalty of the citizens. They collect the tithe, to ensure that the offertory can afford to manufacture ships and field armies of faithful, holy warriors.

Enclaves and monasteries of loyal monks and scribes networked into huge AI complexes manage all legal data and contracts, scriptures and teachings of the Tenjada. These are constantly updated and patched every time vessels travel from one system to the next. If a vessel is hailed with the good news and its computer doesn't know the correct piece of scripture with which to reply, it is marked as apostate, awaiting clerical review.

World Economy[edit]

  • Resources: 6 (Few)
  • Labor: 3 (Thousands)
  • Infrastructure: 3 (Very limited)
  • Efficiency: +3 (Improved)

Trade Data[edit]

The ten holy books of scripture, or jada in the holy tongue, have extensive rules for the disposition of possessions, family members, livestock, land, and crafts. All interplanetary trade is closely monitored by anointed members of the faithful.
