Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
This world was a member of the Chanestin Kingdom, a rival to the Sylean Federation in the centuries preceding formation of the Third Imperium.
The 132nd Fleet is headquartered at Uundizi.
In the early days of Imperial history, many worlds in the Core were still recovering from the Long Night. Chanestin worlds like Uundizi had survived the era largely intact and provided a ready-made infrastructure for colonial development. In addition, Chanestin art and architecture was known throughout the Core for its beauty and intricacy. Over time, the Chanestin who remained on Uundizi became fully acclimated to Imperial society.
Uundizi cooperates closely with Zimmel and Bussirka. The trio would very much like to incorporate the subsector's Chanestin worlds into what could become a vibrant local economy. The separatist sentiment of descendants of the Chanestin Kingdom cultures on some other of these worlds complicates this effort.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Uundizi has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Naval Base. It serves as the headquarters for the 132nd Fleet.
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The most commonly heard languages are:
- Core Anglic, one of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
- Vilani, one of the two official languages of the Imperium.
