Tlasov is a non-agricultural and nonindustrial vacuum world, which warrants hazardous environment precautions.
- Life in a vacuum requires great discipline. After all, it only takes one forgotten seal on a vacuum suit to spell death. Those who survive tend to be very methodically-minded and attentive to small detail.
- It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It has few prospects for economic development.
- This is a "high technology" world with technology achievements at, near, or above the standard for Charted Space.
- It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Shiwonee Subsector of Massilia Sector in the Domain of Sylea.
- This world was colonized by and is controlled from Lagna.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Tlasov was originally given political prominence within the subsector over the Geonee worlds, a slight against Shiwonee.
After the Civil War, Geonee integration into Imperial society proceeded much more smoothly than it had previously. Old colonies across the whole Imperium soon sent ambassadors to the Duke of Shiwonee, and new commercial networks were established. The Geonee worlds soon knew prosperity, to the extent that Tlasov had to become a colony in 796 in order to repay its huge commercial debt.
Imperial High (Landed) Nobility[edit]
Tlasov, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
World Starport[edit]
Tlasov has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
World Demographics[edit]
Of the 9,000,000 residents, 80% are now Geonee.
World Languages[edit]
- Core Anglic: One of the principal dialects of one of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
- Irkonee: The predominate language of the Geonee.
- Vilani: One of the two official languages of the Third Imperium.
Urbanization[edit]
A great deal of the architecture is now Geonee-style.
- Family housing is traditionally designed to be two separate wings, joined by a central courtyard.
- The front part of the house, the "public home", is the abode of a male and any unmarried sons or male relatives. This is where visitors are received and males rest and relax.
- The rear is the "private home", where the females live. The only males permitted in this part of the house are the husband -- as all the women are under his protection -- and immediate male relatives.
- The courtyard is frequented equally by both men and women of the family. A secluded section of the courtyard is kept aside for the home of the selweeda -- the Chirper (cerosee) that serves as a symbol of the legitimacy of the patriarch's marriage.
