Ninlakim is a vacuum world, with no atmosphere or hydrosphere. The system has a population between 100 million and 1 billion sophonts. Government control of this world is by an external military force.  The world has a colony on Ishkaa (Dagudashaag 2309). The world has a colony on Shakuur (Dagudashaag 2010). This is a high technology world with available technology over the standards for Charted Space. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ninlakim, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdoms of a marquis and a viscount. All three are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Digadapud.

Astrography and Planetology[edit]

History and Background[edit]

Original settled by the Vilani, during the Long Night this world became a pirate haven and was used by raiders who struck throughout the subsector and beyond.

It is now one of the main naval base in the subsector and is home to major elements of the 205th Fleet. The government of the world is provided by the Imperial Navy and seems to be mostly for the benefit of the Navy.

World Starport (St)[edit]

Ninlakim has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

Demographics[edit]

Ninlakim has a substantial population of Baraka Muslims.

World Culture[edit]

The culture is overall recognizably Vilani, though Solomani Islam is also prominent.

Urbanization[edit]

The majority of the civilian cities are inflatable domes. New dwellings are essentially welded on to the outer skin and inflated. The end result is settlements that resemble a clutch of eggs. Given the fragile nature of their dwellings, naked flame is banned.

  • The mega-city of the continent of Jameel includes the region named Medinah. Inside, Medinah is only accessible from other 'cities' via three tunnels, despite being surrounded on all sides by its neighbours' suburbs. Most of Medinah is a chaotic mixture of the residential and the commercial. Streets are narrow and are layered over with bridges and walkways. The shops are located under, beside or above residential properties.
