Mongo is a rich and agricultural production world with a shirt-sleeve atmosphere and a balance of available surface water. The system supports a population in the millions of sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Jewell Subsector of Spinward Marches Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Mongo, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdoms of a baron and a minor duke. All three are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. The system supports both an Imperial Naval Base and a Scout Base with the additional starship traffic.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
It is a part of the Jewell Cluster.
Stellar Data[edit]
Mongo is a binary star system.
- The primary is a turbulent red giant.
- The secondary is a red main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x3 secondary rocky worlds.
- x3 gas giants.
Comet MONGO 891[edit]
MONGO 891 is a Halley-type comet found in the Mongo System completing its orbit one time every 66 years. MONGO 891 was discovered in the year 891 and moves at 77 degrees to the ecliptic.
Mainworld Data[edit]
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Mongo is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Mongo has a pressure of 0.71 to 1.49 atmospheres. A Standard Atmosphere does not require survival gear and will likely be easy for most sophonts to breathe.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Mongo has 75-85% of its surface covered by liquid water with a few large continents and extensive islands. Wilderness refueling is possible.
Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]
No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.
(Blank map, predominantly watery world.)
Mongo is a boom world with a quickly growing population due to huge amounts of metal deposits recently found close to the planet’s surface.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
The system's huge primary star causes interference, strange tones and noises, and heavy static on commo and sensors.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Mongo has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
- There is an associated Imperial Naval Base.
World Military[edit]
Admiral Sir Yarnell Ervin, Imperial Navy Mongo System Administrator: Sir Yarnell is the Naval Base Commander for the state-of-the-art naval base in the Mongo System. The current fleet force on station is Task Force 10, commonly referred to as Ten. Ten's current flagship is the Kinunir Class Battle Cruiser Wuzi 吴子. Her current commander is Commodore Knieggz, an Imperial Vargr with a reputation for daring and audacity. He took a detachment into the Clan system recently to strike a particularly vicious Vargr corsair band accused of marauding local shipping. [2]
The Naval base hosts elements of the 212th Fleet.
