An interstellar polity in Yiklerzdanzh Sector.

This polity occupies a region with several advanced, high population worlds.

Populace[edit]

The overwhelming majority of Meichntid Ibl citizens are biological Zhodani. Less than one percent of the Human gene pool is from Humans of other origins, primarily Vlazhdumecta. There is also a sizeable minority of Droyne.

Goals[edit]

Survival and self-determination are their goals, often manifesting as cut-throat competition.

One of the major tenets of the original philosophy behind this state's founding was the importance of an individual striving to be as successful and productive as possible. Over time this fairly mild statement took on an extreme importance to the people of the Meichntid Ibl; indeed they arguably structure their entire society around it. Nothing is more important than success, hence M.I. society is fiercely intolerant of apathy.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Yiklerzdanzh Polities

Their location on the Zhodani Consulate border has shaped their history. Indeed, they were originally a part of the early expanding Consulate, long before the Zhodani achieved their current, static borders. They formed their own state over objections to Consulate actions in neighbouring Far Frontiers Sector and the fallout from an unusually unstable time in the Zhodani's long history.

Government & Politics (Leadership)[edit]

Self-perpetuating oligarchies and colonial holdings are common within this polity, though officially the M.I is a democracy.

In order to get elected, M.I politicians require huge amounts of money to finance the massive election campaigns required. Very few politicians are able to provide these funds themselves, so politicians will approach a corporation for sponsorship. This has led to a complex situation in which Meichntid Ibl politicians represent, and are accountable to, the political party to which they belong, the people who elected them, and the corporation who sponsored them. Naturally, conflicts arise.

Politicians are elected to their planet's world legislature. These are responsible for appointing a set number of representatives to the Federal legislature. These federal representatives aren't elected by the people, but rather are responsible to the world legislature which appoints them.

Political Relations[edit]

The Meichntid Ibl don't get along with the Carillon Harmonies. The two states are rivals over trade and influence in Stellar Chorus Subsector. Also, the Meichntid Ibl fear and distrust Carillon biotechnology. The fact that the Harmony's major ally, Forday's Fortune, doesn't like the M.I. also doesn't help.

The Meichntid Ibl doesn't recognise the Glenauran Signatorate; the Signatorate is indifferent to the snub.

The Meichntid Ibl remains hostile to the Zhodani Consulate and its allies. At least one popular Meichntid Ibl holographic film series features a villainous Zhodani with a bumbling Izrats Kriezhlas sidekick.

Technology & Trade (Economy)[edit]

Their planets vary from TL–5 to TL–15.

The Meichntid Ibl has jurisdiction over 40 worlds with an estimated combined population of 228 billion, a per capita income of Cr11,628, and a total economy of BCr2,651,302. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr21,528 through 38 starports (16 Class-A, 7 Class-B, 4 Class-C, 11 Class-D) employing 4,938,005 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, six Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, and four Industrial (In) worlds. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 6 and 13).

The highest technology level is 15 at Iebia (Yiklerzdanzh 0817), Sianshiafre (Yiklerzdanzh 1115), Edlavr (Yiklerzdanzh 1218), Ezae (Yiklerzdanzh 1417), Jdieblansh (Yiklerzdanzh 2116), Yiapl (Yiklerzdanzh 1612), and Dienzhishinch (Yiklerzdanzh 1615).

The highest population worlds are Iebia (Yiklerzdanzh 0817), Edlavr (Yiklerzdanzh 1218), Dienzhishinch (Yiklerzdanzh 1615), Chivedial (Yiklerzdanzh 2219), and Sianshiafre (Yiklerzdanzh 1115).

The capital of the Meichntid Ibl is Dienzhishinch (Yiklerzdanzh 1615).

Military & Intelligence (Force Projection)[edit]

No designated Naval Bases, Scout Bases, nor conventional military bases are evident on this polity's worlds.

Instead, some systems host Meichntid Military Stations, which function both as the equivalent of a Naval Base and as an Exploration Base.
