Llosoets has a tainted or unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. The world has a colony on Zueuer (Knoellighz 0737). It is a member of Infinity League in the Khuzedhoth Subsector of Knoellighz Sector.

  • This world was once known as Suelirrae.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

Llosoets (Knoellighz 0937) is an arid world with only 10% hydrosphere, a sea in the southern hemisphere, ringed by an oasis and punctuated by the Downport. Low grasses comprise a stunted biosphere.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The low Population of merely 9000 Vargr has a Direct Democracy by virtue of its High-Tech computer network allowing citizens to vote on issues from their vetted and registered personal devices.

A personal filter and minimal desert robes are needed in the Thin and Tainted atmosphere. Grav plates at the oasis community attempt to compensate for the 0.25 surface gravity of this small mainworld.

Llosoets openly supports the Commerce faction of the Infinity League while secretly tapping the Underworld faction in hopes of stimulating its miniscule economy. Smuggling is a growing pastime on this arid world.

World Starport (Sp)[edit]

Llosoets has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

  • Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.
  • With a watering hole ambiance, the Downport named Oasis (in Anglic), has lowered its taxes to attract business in hopes of someday re-routing traffic from nearby Adhgurrgh (Knoellighz 0836) by virtue of superior local Tech Level and Starport amenities. Without Gas Giants, ice rings or planetoid belts to attract vessel traffic, Llosoets is challenged to stay limited to legitimate business. Already, some elements are dipping into smuggling from Gvurrdon Sector, the Zhodani Consulate, and points Coreward along the Bridge of Destiny.

Linguistic Topography[edit]

Gvegh is the Vargr language spoken in the Infinity League, a carryover from settlers originating in Gvurrdon Sector. Many well-educated or corporate Vargr of the League also speak the Zhodani language Zdetl and touch upon Vuakedh when needed.

World Culture[edit]

The smallish populace has developed an unusual cultural trait in that mercantile deals often are accompanied by a peace-gift of water, usually a litre per transaction. It is expected but not a law-required gesture. Adherence to this cultural gifting can assure a trader a welcome berth upon their next visit.
