  • This world was once known as:
    • Aez
    • Zungosgzalloeksuz

Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

Easily overlooked is the companion, Y-class, brown dwarf which is cool enough for careful fuel skimming except for dangerous turbulence. Pilots skimming this body can expect a wild ride.

System Data[edit]

Piprninsh Subsector Trailing edge in Knoellighz Sector and lies on the so-called Bridge of Destiny. This is generally the first system offered as a “flag world” of the polity. Traffic is strong with new ships departing and vessels in need of repairs arriving. Tenders stand by to assist vessels in emergent status.

Mainworld Data[edit]

Adhgurrgh holds two planetoid moons that feature listening posts embedded in craters. During the Virus Era, these installations become vital in vigil for incoming Vampire Fleets.

History & Background / Dossier[edit]

Adhgurrgh (Knoellighz 0836) B120676-B De is found on the Spinward edge of the Infinity League.

World Starport[edit]

Adhgurrgh has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

  • Downport and Startown are devoted to its shipyards, dry dock and expansive ship berths and landing fields. The local metropolitan complex, named Shade (in Anglic), is nestled in a long and deep box canyon that opens to the salt flats of the Downport.
  • A single Gas Giant lies in an outer orbit and serves as a stopping point for wilderness refueling.
  • Very Thin and Tainted atmosphere, the planet is devoted to quality starship construction and launch from the lower gravity Downport.

World Technology Level[edit]

Adhgurrgh possesses a Technology Level of TL–11 or TL-B in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Adhgurrgh has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.

  • A Balkanized government allows one million Vargr to govern itself, partitioned into departments of starship aspects, e.g. Hull, Drives, Bridge, etc. Immigration to Adhgurrgh is limited to vetted and educated Vargr who concentrate on starship design and construction. Much of this world’s citizens come from other worlds once approved for work here.

World Law Level[edit]

For safety, only shotguns and Infighting are allowed by the citizens.

World Military[edit]

Naval Headquarters world, working with the Research Base on Dzourzzo (Knoellighz 1035). This world is the second branch of the Infinity League government and supports the Naval faction of that polity.

  • By 1111, this world is a hotbed of change and new designs from Dzurrzo and the contributing Zhodani Consulate providing System Defense Boat prototypes for consideration.

World Economy[edit]

Desert world requires many imported goods to keep operations launching new vessels on a monthly basis.

History-Era: Rebellion 1116[edit]

The Imperial Rebellion is too far Rimward to have measurable effect upon this world.

History-Era: Hard Times 1125[edit]

Adhgurrgh suffers an economic downturn and production is slowed. Yet the threat of Corsairs, a need for convoy escort and more System Defense Boats keep this Downport in business.

History-Era: Virus Era 1130s[edit]

This world is adversely affected by the onset of Virus. Many newly-launched ships turn Vampire upon the shipyards immediately and begin bombardment. Thankfully, ships not yet launched aid the Downport defenses with their own weaponry brought online. Quarantine from Gvurrdon Sector and the neighboring Zhodani Consulate helps this world recover quicker than many worlds of Knoellighz Sector.

History-Era: Empress Wave 1154[edit]

By the time this anomaly from the galactic core arrives, many Psions of the Infinity League have gone into quietus, (much to anti-Psionics protestors' delight), in attempt to shield themselves from the Wave.
